Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the talented actress of South Indian film Industry. She was last seen in Pushpa: The Rise where she shook a leg for the special song Oo Antava. She debuted in Hindi with Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani starrer The Family Man 2 last year. She is waiting for the release of her Tamil film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Telugu movie Shaakuntalam. It is also being heard that she is making her debut in Bollywood with a women-centric film produced by Taapsee Pannu. However, an official announcement regarding this project of Samantha is still awaited.

Pushpa: Samantha was offered the role of Srivalli in Pushpa. But when she rejected the offer, Sukumar brought Rashmika Mandanna on the board to play the love interest of Allu Arjun. The action drama turned out to be the biggest hit of 2021 in India beating the Hollywood biggie Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Yevadu : Allu Arjun and Ram Charan starrer Yevadu was a hit. Earlier there were rumours that Samantha was ousted from this film.
I: Vikram starrer I helmed by Shankar, was also rejected by Samantha. For this film Vikram transformed his entire body into a demonic like structure. Amy Jackson played the female lead in this.
Ninnu Kori: Earlier Samantha had also rejected the romantic movie Ninni Kori. Later the makers roped Nivetha Thomas as the love interest of Nani.
