Sita Ramam Movie Review: Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, Sumanth and others starrer Sita Ramam has finally arrived at the theaters today on 5th August 2022. Let’s see the story of Sita Ramam.
Story: The movie starts with a narration between the Indian Army and terrorists. Afreen (Rashmika Mandanna) is back to her homeland Pakistan from London after facing an issue. Her grandfather gives her a letter to make it reach Sita (Mrunal Thakur). Balaji (Tharun Bhascker) helps Afreen in finding Sita. They get a lead to find the whereabouts of Ram (Dulquer Salmaan). The proceedings shift to the introduction of Lieutenant Ram in 1964, who is an orphan. He is posted at POK along with his colleagues to protect the borders. He receives letters from a girl Sita. Later he meets her after exchanging the letters and love story blossoms between them. This is the time Ram goes on a secret mission to Pakistan and gets caught by the soldiers there. What is the secret mission? What happened to Ram and Sita’ love story? To get these answers, one should watch the movie Sita Ramam on the silver screen.

Performance: Dulquer Salmaan stays within the character and enthralls class lovers with his performance. He comes up with an outstanding performance in the film. He justifies the role 100%. Mrunal Thakur looks good and her chemistry with Dulquer is the main assets. Prakash Raj, Sunil, Rahul Ravindran, Priyadarshi, and Murali Sharma. Sumanth gets the best role of his career. Rashmika Mandanna is a perfect fit for the role of Afreen. She excels in her role as the story’s main narrator and adds a lot of intrigue to the narration. Sumanth delivers a significant performance in this film and rest of the cast perform accordingly.
Technical: Cinematography is outstanding along with the color grading. Framing and movement of the camera is used to enhance the magnitude of the film. Music by Vishal Chandrasekhar is excellent. The background music is seamlessly integrated with the scenes and camera movements to give maximum effect. Editing is sharp and the dialogues create a fabulous impact. Production design deserves a special mention. Production values are super grand. Director Hanu Raghavapudi proves his mettle directing a class film. Though the pacing is slow, the director Hanu keeps the movie lovers engaged with a well written screenplay.
Analysis: Sita Ramam is a perfect love story with mixed emotions. On the whole, the movie has all the ingredients to work big at the box office.
