Recently Jr NTR’s father-in-law Narne Srinivasa Rao joined YSR Congress Party. On Thursday, he met party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. During the media interaction, Narne Srinivasa Rao said he joined the YSRCP to strengthen the hands of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and would work for the Party.
NTR’s grandson and son of former Union minister Daggubati Purandeswari joined the YSR Congress Party recently and met YSRCP leader with his father Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, who had a long political innings.
After the completion of 2009 election campaign, Jr NTR never stood prominently and figured out in TDP’s activities. Though Nara Chandrababu Naidu was interested to utilize the services of Jr NTR but he did not support him because he wants only Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) not TDP.
After 2009 elections, except Jr NTR, other family members, like Nandamuri Balakrishna and Nara Lokesh started to occupy the position in Politics. By 2014 election time Jr NTR failed to jump into the election campaign on behalf of the TDP. He did not campaign for TDP in 2014 election, but his brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram took an active step by assisting and following his uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna in the election campaign. Finally TDP leaders failed to deal with Jr NTR.

Daggubati Purandeswari herself is a BJP leader and Parchur is the constituency that her husband and former minister Daggubati Venkateswara Rao represented in the Assembly in 1989 and 2004.
Venkateswara Rao has already started campaigning for his son. Recently he met the followers in Parchuru constituency’s Karamchedu. On the otherside, Hitesh is in the process of relinquishing his American citizenship to enable himself to participate in the Indian electoral process. He can enroll as a voter in AP only after relinquishing his US citizenship.
