Akkineni Nagarjuna and Nani are working together for an upcoming multistarrer movie Devadas, which is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Sriram Adittya. Ashwini Dutt is producing ‘DevaDas’ under Vyjayanthi Movies banner and the film is on the verge of completion. According to the latest update the first teaser of Devadas will be unveiled tomorrow on 24th August at 5 pm. The production house Vyjayanthi Movies, has confirmed this news. The makers of Devadas wrote on the wall of Twitter page of Vyjayanthi Movies, “It’s time to say CHEERS as the first teaser #SmallPeg from #Devadas is releasing tomorrow at 5 pm. Natural Star Nani also confirmed the news of Devadas teaser and shared the poster on his twitter and captioned it, “Repu Hope u will all like it #DevaDasTeaser.” Akkineni Nagarjuna wrote, “This is going to be fun!! #DevaDasTeaser @VyjayanthiFilms.”
Chalo and Geetha Govindam fame Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh are playing the female lead roles.
Nani will be seen in the role of a doctor whereas Akkineni Nagarjuna will be seen as gangster. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen opposite Nani whereas Aakanksha Singh of ‘Malli Raava’ is paired up with Nagarjuna. Recently the makers released the first look poster of Devadas, which received decent response by the movie lovers and generate positive hype surrounding the movie. It is expected to be a fun outing from the two actors. Devadas will hit the theaters on 27th September 2018.
Recently in an interview Officer star Nagarjuna opened up about the film, and said, “This new film that I am doing with Natural Star Nani is very much in the Rajkumar Hirani territory. I play a gangster and Nani plays my doctor. It is a very warm-hearted funny script. “
