Samantha Akkineni, the wife of Naga Chaitanya and daughter-in-law of Akkineni Nagarjuna was spotted selling vegetables on the roads of Chennai recently. Don’t get shock, the beautiful and talented actress has turned vegetable seller in Chennai for a good cause. The money which Samantha earned from selling the vegetable, donated to Pratyusha Foundation for the help of needy children.
Samantha has her own NGO Pratyusha Foundation, which provides the medical support for the children and women. Samantha Akkineni donates her earning to support this foundation. Already her Pratyusha Foundation has helped hundreds of underprivileged children who have been suffering from physically challenging medical condition. Pratyusha Support organizes Blood camps, Support children’s to fulfill their desires, free Cardiac surgeries.
Apart from being a star actress, Samantha Akkineni is also known for her charity activities. Especially the way she founded ‘Pratyusha Support’ and helping children with dreaded diseases is praiseworthy. Samantha Akkineni is doing heavy charity from her income and that’s what makes her a more popular celeb than her films.
Recently Samantha’s Pratyusha Foundation also came in the support of the victims of Kerela flood. Pratyusha sent relief materials including Rice bags, water bottles, medicines, milk powder, biscuits, ors, sanitary napkins, blankets, bleaching powder, soaps, detergents, cloths, slippers etc.
On the workside, this year Samantha Akkineni has delivered 3 blockbuster movies- Mahanati, Rangasthalam and Abhimanyudu. In Nag Ashwin’s Mahanati, Samantha played the role of journalist whereas in Sukumar’s Rangathalam, she played he love interest of Ram Charan and In Abhimanyudu, Samantha made her screen presence as Dr. Rathi Devi.
Meanwhile Samantha is waiting for the release of Seema Raja and woman centric movie U Turn, both the movies are arriving at the theaters on 13th September 2018. In murder mystery thriller drama U Turn, once again Samantha will be seen playing journalist whereas her Rangasthalam co-star Aadhi Pinisetty is playing police officer.
