Samantha AKkineni has finally proved that she can go to any extent for hubby Naga Chaitanya. On 17th August, Samantha announced the release date of her upcoming bilingual drama U Turn that the movie will be released on 13th September. She wrote on the wall of her Twitter, “@pawanfilms @AadhiOfficial @23_rahulr @SS_Screens #UTurnOnSept13 releasing soon !!” But today, Samantha tweeted, “#UTurn coming soon in Tamil & Telugu. Happy to welcome on board @dhananjayang ‘s @BOFTAIndia as our Distributor for Tamil Nadu for both the versions. Release date announcement on Monday. Excited” Today in her tweet, Samantha said that the exact release date of U Turn would be announced on Monday. It means, the release date of U Turn has been changed and the new date will be announced on Monday. It seems Samantha is planning to give a surprise to Naga Chaitanya as she does not want to compete with him at the box office.
It is known news that Naga Chaitanya starrer upcoming romantic and family entertainer Sailaja Reddy Alludu has been postponed and it is expected that the movie will be arrived at the theaters on 13th September. This new release date of Naga Chaitanya starrer will be officially announced shortly.
Sailaja Reddy Alludu in which Anu Emmanuel is playing the love interest of Naga Chaitanya, got postponed as music director Gopi Sundar has been volunteering flood relief work in Kochi. Due to delay in the work of background score, the makers have postponed the release of this much awaited film from 31st August to 13th September. Ramya Krishna is playing an important role in this film, directed by Maurthi Dasrai and produced under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.
Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Samantha and Aadhi Pinisetty starrer mystery thriller U-Turn have been snapped by Dhananjayan’s Creative Entertainers and Distributors. Produced by Srinivasa Silver Screen, Dhananjayan will take care of the release of both the Tamil and Telugu versions of U-Turn in Tamil Nadu.
Dhananjayan has confirmed this news via his tweet and he also did not confirm the release date of Samantha starrer U Turn. He tweeted, “Very excited to acquire the Distribution rights for both Tamil & Telugu versions of #UTurn for Tamil Nadu, one of the highly anticipated films. Thank you @Samanthaprabhu2 for the support & Producer Pavan Kumar for the trust. September 2018 release. Looking forward.”
