Richa Chadda is essaying the role of adult film star Shakeela in upcoming biopic, which is progressing at brick pace. The actress is also playing a s*x worker in an upcoming film Love Sonia. Recently Richa Chadda shared a pic on her Instagram and captioned it, “It’s always difficult to play a complex part like this. @lovesoniamovie has us being a 100 shades of grey! How do you impart dignity to a role that everyone uses as an insult? Who is a commercial sex worker? How do you lose inhibitions and conditioning? What is her story? How did she get here to begin with? It’s a cruel, dark world… PS – Thank you @shaahidamirfor convincing me to use the enormous nose pin.” Coming on the pic, wearing brown blouse and a skimpy petticoat, Richa Chadda looks sensous.”
Love Sonia is directed by Tabrez Noorani and produced by David Womark. Apart from Richa Chadda, the film has other stars like Freida Pinto, Demi Moore, Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadda, Anupam Kher, Adil Hussain, Rajkummar Rao, and Sai Tamhankar, in supporting roles. Love Sonia had its world premiere at the London Indian Film Festival on 21st June 2018 and the film is scheduled to hit the theaters on 14th September 2018 in India.
Love Sonia is all about the story of a village girl named Sonia (Mrunal Thakur),whose life irrevocably changes when she is entrapped into the vicious global sex trade network. Richa Chadda is playing the role of Madhuri, a s*x worker.
Richa Chadda is also the part of Shakeela biopic. Few days ago, the first look of Richa Chadha as was released by the makers in which she was seen in white and gold saree. Rich Chadda said, the challenge for the look of the film but also a good one is that the story traces the journey of Shakeela’s younger days to her becoming a popular figure.
