Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is very close to Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi and both share good rapport. Currently they are sharing screen space in upcoming big budget drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, based on the late freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, in which Chiranjeevi is playing the titular role whereas Amitabh Bachchan is playing a cameo. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, Big B has refused to take the remuneration for his role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s periodic drama. According to Big B, he accepted the offer because he respects Chiranjeevi. The sources say as Amitabh Bachchan has said no for the remuneration, Chiru has gifted him a Jewellery worth a whooping Rs 3 Cr. This is really an unbelievably expensive gift by Chiraneevi to Amitabh Bachchan.

In the month of March, This is how Amitabh Bachchan shared that he has accepted Chiranjeevi’s request: “Dear friend Chiranjeevi, that majestic super star and icon from the world of Andhra and Telugu cinema, requests for a guest appearance in his magnum opus, on a most valiant period character that he portrays.”
Chiranjeevi is playing the freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in this film, which is being directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions Company. The film has the music by Bollywood music composer Amit Trivedi. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has other stars like Tamannah Bhatia, Nayantara, Kichcha Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, Vijay Sethupathi and others in supporting role.
Meanwhile Amitabh Bachchan is busy in his upcoming Hindi film Bandla, directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and Azure Entertainment, in which Taapsee Pannu is playing the female lead. It is remake of a the 2016 Spanish thriller film Contratiempo.
