Vijay Deverakonda who became overnight star after delivering the successful movie Arjun Reddy, is busy in his upcoming project. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial venture Arjun Reddy is the film that changed his career in a big way and now the same film is being remade in Bollywood in which Shahid Kapoor will play the lead role and it’s Hindi version will also be helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Recently during the media interaction, when Viay Deverakonda was asked whether Shahid Kapoor will do good justice to his role in Hindi version, Vijay Deverakonda, “I don’t know who I am to judge if Shahid Kapoor has done any justice to the character or not. Only Sandeep Reddy Vanga will have to say and find the differences. Arjun Reddy star added that he is very excited to watch it’s Hindi Version.
Vijay Deverakonda further added that he needed a script like Geetha Govindam to take him away from his character in Arjun Reddy. Geetha Govindam was helpful because it’s a fun story.
Shahid Kapoor starrer Arjun Reddy remake is in per production stage. The regular shoot is expected to commence from 1st October.
On the otherside, Vijay Deverakonda is currently enjoying the success of his recent offering Geetha Govindam, which has joined the club of Rs 100 Cr marks in just 12 days. Parasuram’s directorial venture Geetha Govindam joins films like Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu and Ram Charan ‘s Rangasthalam among many others from the recent past.
The romantic and comedy entertainer Geetha Govindam also enters the prestigious clubs of $2 million collection in the US making it the first film of Viay Deverakonda to enter the special club. Rashmika Manadanna plays the female lead role in this film, which is produced by Bunny Vas under the banner of Geetha Arts 2. Currently Vijay Deverakonda is waiting for the release of Telugu film Taxiwala and Tamil film NOTA.
