Vijay Deverakonda is currently enjoying the success of her recently offering Geetha Govindam, which has turned out blockbuster at the box office and is going to join the club of Rs 50 Cr marks very soon. Now all eyes are on his next upcoming bilingual Telugu-Tamil drama NOTA. The movie lovers and Vijay Deverakonda’s fans are eagerly waiting for the updates of NOTA. The Arjun Reddy star is making her Tamil debut with this upcoming film, in which Punjabi Kudi Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is playing the female lead. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, the makers are planning to release the film on the eve of Christmas. Recently during the media interaction, Vijay Deverakonda said, “I will dub the movie in my own voice. Language isn’t a barrier when it comes to talent. Telugu and Tamil are really close these days. Bilinguals are a way to bridge that gap even more closer.”
Touted to be an intense political thriller, NOTA is being directed by Anand Shankar and bankrolled by Tamil producer Gnanavel Raja under the banner of his Studio Green. In the month of March, the makers have already, released the first look poster of the film, in which Vijay Deverakonda was seen showing an inked middle finger. Anand Shankar said, “We wanted to use Vijay Deverakonda’s popularity and talent in this project. He is a badass guy. I wanted that element to be there in this upcoming film NOTA.” Vijay Devarkonda, who is popular for his devil-may-care attitude, is fit for this seemingly bold, politically-heavy movie NOTA, which is being made in Telugu and Tamil.
Sam CS of Vikram Vedha is on the board to render the tune. Santhana Krishnan is the cinematographer. The sources say that NOTA will be a commercial drama with political nuances. Sathyaraj and Naseer are playing the supporting roles in Vijay Deverakonda and Mehreen Kaur starrer NOTA.
