Chiranjeevi begins Sye Raa Action

Chiranjeevi begins Sye Raa ActionChiranjeevi has started the shoot of Sye Raa in Georgia and currently the  makers are canning action episode. We have already reported that the team of upcoming periodic drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will head to  Georgia for the shoot. This news is confirmed by director Surender Reddy.  Today he took to his Twitter to share few pic and a video from Georgia. He captioned the video, “All set for the war! #ActionBegins #SyeRaa #Georgia.” Ram Charan’s production house Konidela Production  also confirmed the same and tweeted, “#SyeRaaActionBegins.” Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy in Sye Raa. It is a 40-day schedule.

The big-ticket film is helmed by director Surender Reddy and produced by Chiranjeevi’s star son Ram Charan under his home production banner Konidela Production Company. Ram Charan is going  to spent Rs 50 Cr for its Georgia schedule and is making it the second most expensive overseas schedule ever for a Telugu film, after Young Rebel Star Prabhas starrer Saaho’s 90 Cr UAE schedule.  The sources close to the film unit reveal that around 200 unit members will be participated in the latest schedule of Sye Raa and the makers are going to shoot battle sequences between Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy’s battalion and the British Army.

 Apart from Chiranjeevi, Sye Raa has other stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Nayantara, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathi Babu and Tamannah Bhatia in supporting roles. The makers have brought Bollywood Music composer Amit Trivedi on the board to render the tune.

 Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a biopic on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a Rayalaseema freedom fighter. He is touted to be one of the first freedom fighters in India and his first revolt against  British rule came a decade before India’s first war of independence in 1857. Narasimha Reddy, was captured and publicly hanged in 1847. Hollywood stunt director Greg Powell, well known for choreographing the stunt sequences in blockbusters such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious 6 and Hercules in on the board.
