On this day (21st September), last year, Young Tiger Jr NTR starrer Jai Lava Kusa was released. On this occasion, Kona Venkat took to Twitter and wrote, “It’s one year already !! A film which defines the performance of @tarak9999 .. Proud to have been associated with this masterpiece.. congrats @dirbobby @NTRArtsOfficial & the whole team.”
This was the first time when Jr NTR made his screen presence in triple avatar- Jai, Lava and Kusa. The film is directed by K. S. Ravindra and produced by Jr. NTR’s brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under his banner N. T. R. Arts, whereas it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. Jai Lava Kusa is jointly written by K. S. Ravindra, Kona Venkat and K. Chakravarthy. Two actresses Rasshi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas played the female lead roles whereas Baahubali actress Tamannah Bhatia shook her leg for item song Swing Zara. Ronit Roy, Saikumar Pudipeddi, Posani Krishna Murali, Nanditha Raj, Hamsa Nandini, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Harish Uthaman and Abhimanyu Singh played the supporting roles.
Jai Lava Kusa was dubbed into Hindi as The Power Of 3 – Jai Luv Kush for direct telecast on Zee Cinema on 13 May 2018 with Jr NTR’s voice dubbed by Adityaraj Sharma. The film collected over Rs 120 Cr worldwide. The movie was also screened in Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in Category of “Best of Asia” in South Korea.
After delivering Jai Lava Kusa, Jr NTR joined the hands with Trivikram srinivas for the upcoming action and romantic entertainer Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 11th October on the occasion of Dussehra. DJ and Saakshyam fame Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead and Naga Babu will be seen essaying the role of Jr NTR’s father. This is the first time Jr NTR and Trivikram Srinivas are working together and the expectations are very high on this film.
