According to the latest buzz, the name of actress Jayasudha has been proposed for the post of MAA President. A senior actor said, in the present condition, MAA needs a person, who has ability to bring the stature to the organization and the actress Jayasudha is suitable for it. Few people have already suggested her name for MAA President.
The sources close to Jayasudha reveal that though her name has been proposed for the post of MAA President but she may not be interested in the post. Interestingly, Jayasudha contested in the last elections against Rajendra Prasad and she lost.
Recently Jayasudha said, as she is nearing 60, wants to lead a tension free life so it is expected that she will not accept the post of MAA (Movie Artist Association) President.
It is known news that the recent spat between Shivaji Raja, President of Telugu MAA, and its General Secretary Naresh over the alleged misappropriation of funds collected during a US trip has created a rift in the MAA organisation
Superstar Mahesh Babu does not want to involve in MAA Controversy. The sources say that After the controversy erupted over the way in which President Sivaji Raja allegedly handled Megastar Chiranjeevi’s US tour and pocketed some money unofficially, Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu did not want to get involved.
Chiranjeevi is the Founder President of MAA and he is said to be very upset with Shivaji and team over the present controversy in MAA. Chiranjeevi, who was instrumental in raising funds for MAA (Movie Artist Association) by travelling to the US and collecting the money from various associations there in order to build a new office for the organisation in Hyderabad, is made to feel bad with the attitude of both Shivaji Raja team and Naresh, who directly spatted over each-other taking chiranjeevi’s name for no fault of his.
