Mahesh Babu actress welcomes Twin via Surrogacy

Mahesh Babu actress welcomes Twin via SurrogacyLisa Ray made an important announcement on her Twitter and Instagram on Monday that she and husband Jason Dehni had become parents to twin daughters, born via surrogacy. Lisa Ray made her Telugu debut with Takkari Donga in which Mahesh Babu played the lead role. The action comedy film was directed by Jayant Paranjee and was released in 2002. Her popular Hindi movies are – Kasoor, Water, Veerappan etc.

Indo-Canadian actor Lisa Ray shared the pic of her twins and tweeted, “Stand back world: here comes Soufflé (Sufi plus Soleil) My girls know the future is female. Thank you for all your support and blessings. Takes a village (and thank you @bombaytimes @Bazinga_Ent).”

She  is mother of twins Sufi and Soleil, who were born via surrogacy. In an Instagram post, Lisa Ray wrote that she and her hubby, Jason Dehni, hope that the stigma attached to surrogacy is removed if more people speak openly about the process.

In 2009, Lisa Ray  was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2009. But in 2010, she declared that she is cancer-free  after a stem cell transplant. Unfortunately, in 2012, she reveals, right after her wedding, she relapsed. Although she is better now.

In 2012, Lisa Ray tied the knot with Jason Dehni in a private ceremony in Napa Valley.

On her Instagram, Lisa Ray wrote, “Via @bombaytimes:
‘The actress says she wanted to share her story to clear the myths around surrogacy. “I wanted to share our struggles and triumph. Having been open about my cancer journey and receiving so much unconditional support, sharing this moment of happiness feels right. Hopefully, our story can give hope to others who are struggling to have kids. Life throws you both challenges and miracles, and I’m unspeakably grateful for my miracle daughters,” she said. So, what plans does she have for her girls in future? “I will teach my girls to be resilient, strong, open, and that they can achieve anything they set their hearts on. There are no boundaries, except the ones in our minds and children have no idea of what they can and cannot achieve. Bringing up the next generation to be kind is the greatest chance we have for a better future. I can’t resist whispering in their tiny ears — ‘The Future is Female’,” she asserted.’”
