Plus Points:

  • Performance
  • BGM
  • Cinematography

Minus Points:

  • Slow pace
  • Drags
  • Dialogues

Technical: Manu has a strong storyline but the drags and slow pace narration, tests the patient the audience. The dialogues could have been more direct in critical situations. Naresh Kumaran attracted with his music. He elevated the scenes with his haunting background score. Cinematographer Vishwanath Reddy beautified the film with his cinematography taking it to another level. Editing could have been better as there are huge drags in the film. Production values are good.

Analysis: Manu is  pure art driven thriller love story. Though the director came with an interesting story but, slow pace affected it at most of the times. He attracted with his story and direction.  He emerged successful for most of the part. But Manu is NOT everyone’s cup of tea! If you’re a fan of mystery-thrillers, Go and watch it.
