Naga Chaitanya starrrer romantic, comedy and family entertainer Shailaja Reddy Alludu/Sailaja Reddy Alludu, and Samantha Akkineni starrer woman centric mystery thriller bilingual Telugu and Tamil drama U Turn are hitting the theaters today i.e 13th September. As both the movies- Shailaja Reddy Alludu and U Turn are going to compete at the box office, we have to wait and watch, who will win the box office race?
Recently during the media interaction, Samantha Akkineni opened up about the box office clash between U Turn and Shailaja Reddy Alludu, she expressed regret about locking horns with her husband Naga Chaitanya.
Everyone is expecting that both the movies- Shailaja Reddy Alludu and U Turn will eat away each other’s share, as the fan of Akkineni family will be split between two.
In an interview Samantha said, “It is a bit stressful that both Naga Chaitanya and my movies are coming on the same date i.e 13th September. U Turn is bilingual movie and as it is also releasing in Tamil simultaneously, things were planned in such a way that it was hard to change the release date. Samantha wished that both the movies- Shailaja Reddy Alludu and U Turn will be hit at the box office. Samantha also said, “ As a wife, Naga Chaitanya’s happiness is very important for me.”
U Turn starring Samantha Akkineni, Aadhi Pinisetty, Rahul Ravindran and Bhumika Chawla, is directed by Pawan Kumar. The Kannada U Turn was made with a bunch of newcomers. But, the Tamil and Telugu remake of U Turn has an experienced star cast. Pawan Kumar has made several changes in its remakes to suit the local taste.
Naga Chaitanta, Anu Emmanuel and Ramya Krishna starrer Shailaja Reddy Alludu, is directed by Maruthi Dasari. Number of celebrities are sending their wishes to Samantha and Naga Chaitanya for their movies.
