This time Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is planning to bring Allu Arjun in Bollwyood with his film. It is heard that Allu Arjun is planning to make his Bollywood debut in Kabir Khan’s ’83’, which also stars Ranveer Singh. Allu Arjun will be seen playing the role of former Team India’s star cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth. It is sports biography which revolves around the Indian cricket team’s World Cup victory.
Bajirao Mastani and Padmavaat star Ranveer Singh is playing the role of captain Kapil Dev. It is not yet clear whether Allu Arjun has given his nod to the makers or not. But the sources say that Allu Arjun is very excited regarding this upcoming biopic. If everything will go accordingly, it will mark the young Telugu actor Allu Arjun debut in Hindi Film Industry.
83 will trace the story of Indian skipper Kapil Dev and the entire Indian national cricket team when they won the 1983 World Cup. Recently during the media interaction, Ranveer Singh said, “I was born at the time when cricket was big time. When Kabir Khan had come to me and said that there will be a film on 83, I was like it finally. And when he was narrating it to me, I was like woooh. It is not just a story about cricket but a human story.” 1983 World Cup has been a celebratory milestone in the history of Indian cricket. Currently the makers are busy in the casting of the other actors. Kabir Khan has already completed the script for the film.
Allu Arjun who was last seen in Naa Peru Surya, has also given his green signal to 24, Manam and Hello director Vikram Kumar for his next project. According to the latest buzz, the makers are planning to bring Samantha Akkineni on the board to play the love interest of Allu Arjun.
