Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja who made his comeback after a short break with Raja The Great, was last seen in Nela Ticket. Though Nela Ticket was bombed at the box office but his performance received applause by the movie lovers. According to the latest buzz in the film Industry, Ravi Teja is going to make his screen presence in dual avatar in his next upcoming film, which will be helmed by none other than VI Anand of Eppatiki Pothavu Chinnavada fame. Recently VI Anand met Ravi Teja and narrated an interesting script to the actor. Ravi Teja, who was very impressed with his character has given nod.
The source say the Ravi Teja will be seen in double role as a father and as a don. The upcoming untitled film will be bankrolled by Ram Talluri under the banner of SRT Entertainments, who produced Ravi Teja’s previous offering Nela Ticket. Before starting the shoot of Nela Ticket, Ravi Teja signed two movies deal with Ram Tullari. The pre production work has been already started and the movie will go on the floors very soon.
Meanwhile Ravi Teja is working with Srinu Vaitala for an upcoming movie Amar Akbar Anthony, in which Ileana D C’ruz is playing the female lead and is being bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Praveen Marpuri under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Apart from the lead pair, the film has other stars like Sunil, Laya, Ravi Prakash, Rajveer Ankur Singh, Tarun Arora, Abhimanyu Singh, Vikramjeet Virk, Sayaji Shinde Adithya Menon, Srinivasa Reddy and Vennela Kishore in supporting roles. Earlier Srinu Vaitala and Ravi Teja have worked together for three movies- Nee Kosam (1999), Venky (2004) and Dubai Seenu(2007). So expectations are very high.
On the otherside, VI Anand’s previous offering Okka Kshanam with Allu Sirish was dud at the box office but both Ravi Teja and director VI Anand are planning to deliver a hit movie this time.
