RX 100 starring Karthikeya and Payal Rajput, is now going to Bollywood. According to the latest update, Sajid Nadiadwala, has bought the Hindi rights of RX 100 for a handsome price. Now the blockbuster Telugu movie RX 100, will be remade in Hindi. We have to wait and watch the who will get the opportunity to play the lead roles.
The sources say that Sajid Nadiadwala bought the Hindi remake rights of RX for Rs 1.50 Cr. The Telugu version of bold romantic drama RX 100 was helmed by debutant director Ajay Bhupathi on a budget of Rs 2.5 Cr. Though it was a small film, it went on to become a huge success and turned out blockbuster at the box office. The movie has earned profits of nearly Rs 13 to 17 Cr.
The sources added that Sajid Nadiadwala is planning to bring prominent actor for the lead role in the Hindi version.
RX 100 was a real trendsetter that garnered a lot of appreciation for Karthikeya. Currently the actor is busy in his next upcoming film Hippi, which is being directed by Krishna and produced by Kalaipuli Thanu, who has made several big budget films in Tamil. The film has the two female leads.
Recently during the media interaction, Krishna said, Hippi is a romantic comedy and Karthikeya’s role is completely different from his earlier film. From the beginning to the end, Hippi is a complete entertainer but the movie also reflects the present day scenario around us.”
RX actor Karthikeya is very happy with his character in Hippi and said, “I liked the story and I am confident that this film will give me continued success.”
On the otherside, RX actress Payal Rajput has signed an upcoming Tamil movie in which Udhayanidhi Stalin is playing the lead role. It will be bankrolled by Rama Saravanan.
