silly fellows reviewSilly Fellows Review :
Movie: Silly Fellows
Director : Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao
Producers : Kiran Reddy, Bharath Chowdary
Music Director : Sri Vasanth
Starring : Allari Naresh, Sunil, Chitra Shukla, Nandini Rai
Release Date: 7th September 2018
Rate:  3/5

Allari Naresh and Sunil starrer Silly Fellow, directed by Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao has hit the theaters today.  The movie is very important for both the stars Allari Naresh and Sunil as they have delivered a series of flop movies. Let’s see the storyline of Silly Fellow:

Story: A MLA promise to his minister to fulfill his last wish as he wants to distribute Rs 500 Cr to the poor people. After an accident MLA goes into coma complicating things for his loyalist, who had asked for a favour from the politician to impress the girl he is in love with.

Plus Points:

  • Allari Naresh
  • Sunil
  • First Half
  • Comedy

Minus Points:

  • Editing
  • BGM
  • Lack of Twists and Turns

Performance: Allari Naresh and Sunil have given their best and both are the major highlights of this film. Chitra Shukla is good in her role as an inspector but she became fail to attract the audiences with her performance. Nandini Rai performed well but she got limited screen space.  Brahmanandam, Jayaprakash Reddy, Chalapathi Rao, Adhurs Raghu, Posani Krishna Murali, Raja Raveendra,  Jhansi and Hema performed accordingly.

Technical:  The storyline of Silly Fellow is simple but interesting. The dialogues are funny. The music by Sri Vasanth is just ok.  He became fail with his music and BGM. Though the songs are good but the placement of songs look like a speed breaker. His background score failed to elevate the scenes. The cinematography by Anish Tarun is impressive.  Editing is decent but there are number of illogical and dragged scenes in the movie. Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao could have added few more twists and turns to make the movie interesting.  The production values by Kiran Reddy and Bharat Chaudhary under People Media Factory and Blue Planet Entertainment are good.

Analysis: Overall Silly Fellows, the remake of Tamil film Valainu Vandhutta Vallaikaran, is a good comedy entertainer movie. Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao who is popular to deliver hit movies with the remakes, became successful to impress the audiences one again. The combination of Sunil and Allari Naresh generated much interest among the movie lovers. The run time is crisp.
