Venkatesh Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan have teamed up for an upcoming project, which is said to be a war drama. The upcoming drama will be helmed by young director Sri Reddy who reportedly impressed Venkatesh and Dulquer Salmaan with his exciting storyline. According to the latest update, Venkatesh Daggubati will be seen playing the role of an Army Colonel and will also be seen wearing an Army uniform in his upcoming multi-starrer.
The sources say that Venkatesh will be doing a special role whereas Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in an author-backed role. Dulquer Salmaan is one of the most talented and successful actors in the film industry. He enjoys a strong fan following thanks to his remarkable versatility as a performer, bindass attitude and humble nature. With his recently offering Mahanati, he has already won million of hearts where he essayed the role of Gemini Ganesan. The upcoming film of Dulquer Salmaan with Venkatesh will be his second Tollywood outing and it will also mark the debut of young director Sri Reddy.
It is heard that Venkatesh, who was excited to play the role of an army man, agreed to the big- ticket film from June next year but he hasn’t signed the project yet.
Venkatesh was last seen in Sudha Kongra’s directorial venture Guru, where he played the role of boxing coach. Meanwhile he is also busy with the shooting of F2 (Fun and Frustration) with Mega Prince Varun Tej. And Dulquer Salmaan has multiple films in different stages of production.
Dulquer Salmann has Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal and The Zoya Factor in his kitty. Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal is a Tamil romantic-drama, in which he will be seen with Ritu Varma, which is likely to hit the screens on 5th October 2018. On the otherside, The Zoya Factor is based on a novel of the same name and is being directed by Abhishek Sharma.
