After delivering three successful movies- Rangasthalam, Mahanati and Abhimanyudu, Samantha Akkineni is coming up with woman centric mystery thriller drama U Turn. The bilingual Tamil and Telugu U Turn is remake of 2016 Kannada movie of the same name, in which Shraddha Srinath played the lead role. Srinivasa Chitturi and Rambabu Bandaru are bankrolling it under the banners of BR8 Creations, VY Combines and Srinivasa Silver Screen.
Story: U Turn is all about the story of a journalist (Samantha Akkineni) who is an intern in a media house and decides to investigate the issue, when the flyover in the city becomes the hotbed of accidents.
