Vijay Devarakonda is all set to test his luck in Tamil filmdom with his next upcoming political drama NOTA, which is slated to hit the theaters on 5th October. The movie will portray many incidents from Indian politics. Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam star, has already started the promotional activities of his bilingual Tamil- Telugu drama NOTA. Vijay Devarakonda shared a pic on his Twitter as a part of promotional activities and captioned it, “PowerPlay.” The pic features the actor’s terrific look and his intense eyes are grabbing the attention of his fans.
Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is playing the female lead in NOTA which is directed by Anand Shankar and produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green. The technical crew of the film NOTA includes Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy for music and CS Shyam for cranking the camera. Recently during the media interaction, the producer Gnavanel Raja opened up about NOTA and said, “ NOTA is set with a political backdrop but it is also a family drama. Vijay Devarakonda will be seen playing the role of Chief Minister’s son whereas Sathyaraj is playing opposition leader. The story of the movie revolves around two brothers and a conflict between them.”
The producer further said, “ NOTA will have many incidents that are inspired from the Andhra Pradesh Politics and we have taken special care to not hurt anyone’s sensibilities. We have also shown Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s hospitalization in this film. It also has snippets from the lives of late NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao) and the present Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.”
Currently Vijay Devarakonda has a slew of films in his kitty including Taxiwala which has Malavika Nair as female lead and Dear Comrade lined up for release. In Dear Comrade, once again Vijay Devarakonda will be seen sharing the screen space with his Geetha Govindam Co-star Rashmika Mandanna.
