Vijay Deveakonda challenges his rowdies

Vijay Deverakonda has accepted the Haritha Haram/Green Challenge, which was thrown by Mayor Bonthu Rammohan. Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam fame star accompanied some of his Kakinada fans and participated in the noble programme of planting some trees and passed on Green Challenge to his rowdies.   Vijay Deverakonda also hosted a small food party on this occasion. The actor has tweeted on this development. As part of the challenge, one have to plant three or more plants and nominate others in spreading the Green Message. Vijay Deverakonda also shared a video on his twitter and captioned it, “#HarithaHaram #GreenChallenge accepted Planting trees and lunching with my Kakinada Boys :)) I now challenge my rowdies @Sheetal_Chowhan @samhitha17 @ChaltanyaReddy @akshitha9198 @karanam_pooja @xziamstheticx @keerthanaGMalar.”

Hyderabad Mayor planted saplings at his residence along with his daughter Ushasree recently and nominated Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, High Court Chief Justice Radhakrishnan, film actors Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Baahubali star  Rana Daggubati and Vijay Deverkonda for the Green challenge.

Number of celebrities like Samantha Akkineni, PV Sindhu, SS Rajamouli, ABN Telugu Channel MD Radha Krishna, Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, Popular former cricket star VVS Lakshman, Telangana IT minister KTR. Superstar Mahesh Babu, and others have accepted the Haritha Haram Green Challenge and shared their videos on their twitter. Green Challenge/The Hara Hai To Bhara Hai/ Haritha haram Challenge is slowly gaining prominence with several distinguished personalities pitching in to create awareness. The challenge has been started as part of the Haritha Haram initiative.

 On the workside, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in romantic and comedy entertainer Geetha Govindam in which Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead. The film is directed by Parasuram and produced by Bunny Vas whereas presented by Allu Aravind. Geetha Govindam has turned out blockbuster at the box office and currently running successfully. Once again  Vijay Deverakonda is sharing the screen space with Rashmika Mandanna in Dear Comrade.
