Now a video of Vijaykanth is going viral on social media, in which the actor turned politician is seen playing respects to late former Chief Minister Karunanidhi. Vijaykanth was the Leader of the Opposition of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Before coming into politics he was a film director and actor. Vijaykanth was a political film actor in Tamil film Industry. He is the Leader of the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) Political party and served as a Member of Legislative Assembly representing the constituency of Rishivandiyam.
Vijaykanth is also known for protracting a village do-gooder. He made his debut with Inikkum Ilamai in 1979 where he played an antagonist. He tasted success with Doorathu Idi Muzhakkam in 1980 and later he delivered Sattam Oru Iruttarai in 1981, which was directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar.
The sources say that Vijaykanth was admitted in hospital due to sickness and recently he was discharged from there. His fans are shocked after seeing the sad state of Vijakanth.
