Kulasekhar, the popular Lyricist, who is well known face for Telugu audiences as he has crooned several popular songs in Tollywood such as Chitram, Indra, Jayam, Nuvvu Nenu, Santosham, etc. has been arrested by the police once again.
According to the latest update, Jubilee Hills police has arrested Lyricist Kulasekhar on the allegations that he was stealing the valuable things of the devotees in temples. After getting the CCTV footage evidences, Jubilee Hills police arrested him, when he was roaming in Sri Nagar Colony. The theft happened 3 days ago and Kulasekhar was arrested last night.
In 2013, Kulasekhar was arrested for stealing a silver crown of a Hanuman idol from a temple in Kakinada. After being arrested, the lyricist Kulasekhar admitted to the theft and later he was sentenced six months jail term. The theft case of Kulasekhar was so weird, a hint of “mental illness” was added to the final report.’ Few people said that he was suffering from mental disorder wherein he failed to recognize the people.
Kulasekhar’s friends said after his arrest in 2013, “Kulasekhar had fallen into a coma caused by a brain hemorrhage few years ago. But after waking up, he completely lost his memory. Later he left the home. He had no idea where he was going.” According to few, he was addicted to alcohol.
Kulasekhar hails from Vizag and his father worked at a temple. He worked mostly with Telugu director Teja and music director R.P. Patnaik. He has worked for more than 100 films and garnered good acclaim for penning the songs.
