Mahesh Babu is currently busy in the shoot of his upcoming 25th movie Maharshi, which is being helmed by Vamsi Paidipally. After wrapping up the Shoot of Maharshi in Hyderabad and Dehradun, Mahesh Babu and the team is currently in the USA for the 15-day schedule. The US Consul general Katherine Hadda has given all the clearances for the makers to shoot their movie. Earlier, it was heard that the makers are facing problems regarding acquiring the permissions.

Mahesh Babu wrote on his Twitter, “It was great meeting @uscghyderabad today. Looking forward to my trip to your hometown New York!
Vamsi Paidipally tweeted, “It was such a pleasure interacting with You Ma’am…. Thank You for all the warmth.. :)”
Pooja Hegde is playing the love interest of Mahesh Babu in Maharshi, which is being jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju, PVP and Ashwini Dutt under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema. Music for the film has been composed by sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad, the cinematography is by KU Mohanan whereas the editor is KL Praveen.
Currently Pooja Hegde is in Italy for the shoot of her upcoming Bollywood film, Housefull 4.
Allari Naresh is playing the important role in this film. The sources close to the film unit reveal that the first half of the story and probably feature Allari Naresh as his college mate, it is in the second half that the story will take the new turn.
After wrapping up the shoot of Maharshi, Mahesh Babu will join the sets of his next film, which will be directed by Sukumar and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
