Keerthy Suresh is currently working with AR Murugadoss for her next upcoming movie Sarkar in which Vijay is playing the lead role. Recently the makers released the teaser of Sarkar, which created lot of buzz on social media and created records. The teaser has crossed 13 Million+ views in less than 17 hours of its release. Now according to the latest update, Writer and assistant director Varun Rajendran has accused director AR Murugadoss of stealing his story to make the Vijay and Keerthy Suresh starrer Sarkar. This is not the first time when Keerthy Suresh’s director has been accused of Plagiarism. Earlier Keerthy Suresh and Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyaathavaasi, directed by Trivikram Srinivas also faced plagiarism charges.
When the first time, the makers of Sakar released the first look poster of Sarkar, several social activists came forward to protest because Vijay was seen using a cigarette and according to social activists, Vijay was setting a bad example for his fans. Now once again, Sarakar has fallen into controversy. According to the latest update, Varun Rajendran has registered a complaint against with South Indian Film Writers Association. He has stated that director Murugadoss has copied his work titled Sengol, which was registered with the Writer’s Union in 2007 and used it for his next upcoming film Sarkar in which Vijay and Keerthy Suresh are playing lead roles.
Earlier AR Murugadoss has also fallen into a plagiarism controversy. His 2004 released movie Ghajini was said to be inspired from Christopher Nolan’s 2000 neo-noir movie Memento. His another movie with Vijay starrer Kaththi, got into same controversy.
Meanwhile Keerthy Suresh is enjoying the success of her recent offering Pandem Kodi 2, which is running successfully at the box office. Vishal Krishnan is playing the lead role. Very Soon Keerthy Suresh will also be seen in upcoming Malayalam movie Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.
