Nandita Swetha, who made her Telugu debut wth Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada starring Nikhil Siddharth and Heebah Patel, is making her comeback in Telugu film Industry as a female lead and this credit goes to Dr Rajasekhar. It is known news that Dr Rajasekhar is currently busy in his next upcoming film Kalki and he is planning to bring Bengaluru beauty Nandita Swetha on the board to play the female lead role. The sources close to Kalki say that the talk has been initiated and the actress is very impressed with her character. Though she has given her verbal consent but she did not yet sign the project. If everything will go accordingly, very soon official announcement will be made regarding her inclusion in Kalki.
Kalki will be helmed by Prasanth Varma and this upcoming film starring Dr Rajasekhar was announced a couple of months ago, and there has been a lot of speculation over its female lead. It is now almost confirmed that Nandita Swetha will be the part of this project, which will be jointly produced by Rajasekhar’s daughters and C Kalyan.
A source close to Dr Rajasekhar reveal that Nandita Swetha is very inquisitive about the nuances of film-making. So, the makers of Kalki felt her acting prowess would enhance the role.
In Tollywood, Nandita Swetha was last seen in Nithiin and Raashi Khanna starrer Srinivasa Kalyanam, which was bombed at the box office. On the otherside, Nandita Swetha has multiple projects Nenjam Marappathillai, Vanangamudi and Devi 2 in her kitty, which are in different production stages.
Dr Rajasekhar was last seen in Praveen Sattaru’s directorial venture PSV Garuda Vega, which was decent hit at the box office. It is heard that in Kalki, the actor will be seen playing the role, who investigates a case that happened in 1983 in rural Telangana.
