2.0 beats Baahubali 2

2.0 starring Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson has beaten SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2:The Conclusion at Tamil Nadu box office.  2.0 (Enthiran) had made a collection of around Rs 35 Cr on the its opening day at Tamil Nadu box office. Though Shankar’s directorial venture 2.0 fail to beats Baahubali 2 records across the globe but it has crushed its record in Tamil Nadu as Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer had raked in around Rs 11 Cr.

Meanwhile, Lyca Production venture 2.0 has opened to positive reviews from the movie lovers and critics. Everyone is appreciating the performance of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.

 2.0 is setting the box office on fire. The sci-fi  movie was released in over 10,500 screens, which is a staggering screen count for an Indian movie. The movie has turned out to be the biggest opener of all-time in Kollywood.

Superstar Rajinikanth was seen in multiple avatars – Dr Vaseegaran, Chitti, 2.0 and 3.0. The film’s brilliant visual effects seems to be luring in the audience to the theaters.

 Shankar’s movie 2.0 has performed exceptionally well in the international market. It has earned in nearly Rs 2 Cr in the US, Rs 58 lakhs in Australia and over Rs 11 lakhs in New Zealand.

 2.0 is all about the  story about harmful radiation that emits from the cellphone towers and the adverse effects on the birds.

 The trade Analyst Ramesh Bala has shared the collection figure of 2.0 at Chennai Box office. He wrote, “Just In: In #Chennai city, #2Point0 takes All-time No.1 Opening for Day 1 – ₹ 2.64 Crs..
It has beaten #Sarkar ‘s ₹ 2.37 Crs set on #Diwali day..”

 Ramesh Bala also tweeted,” #2Point0 #Nizam Day 1 Share – Rs 4.73 Crs.. Good Opening!”
