Shankar’s magnum opus 2.0 has finally hit the screens today on 29th Novemeber and the film has got a grand opening in the theaters. According to the Theater exhibitors, 2.0 has made record breaking numbers in advance bookings. Rakesh Gowthaman, Managing Director of Vettri Theatres, Chromepet, took to his Twitter to share the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 movie advance booking status. “Fabulous advance bookings for #2point0 . crossed 19k ticket sales b4 release itself . Nikilesh Surya, Executive Director of Rohini Silver Screens, also wrote on his Twitter, “#2Point0 hours before release is the highest pre-booked movie of the year with more than 22k tickets sold @RohiniSilverScr Blockbuster opening for a non-holiday end of the month exam time release!! Thalaiva”
Rajinikanth fans are celebrating the arrival of 2.0 movie like a festival. Shankar’s film is receiving positive response by the movie lovers and critics.
On the workside, Natural Star Nani was last seen in multistarrer movie Devadas, directed by Sriram Aditya, in which Akkineni Nagarjuna also played the lead role.
Currently Nani is busy in his upcoming sport based drama Jersey, helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Nani is also going to team up with Nikhil Siddhartha for an upcoming film, in the direction of Mohan Krishna Indraganti.
