Allu Arjun is one of top actor of Telugu film Industry. He was last seen in Naa Peru Surya but unfortunately the movie was bombed at the box office. Currently Allu Arjun’s fans and movie lovers are eagerly waiting about the announcement of the next upcoming project of the actor. If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Allu Arjun will be seen in Telugu remake of Tamil romantic drama 96. Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan starrer 96 opened to packed houses on 4th October and has turned out to be a massive success with good reviews. Interestingly, the Telugu remake rights of 96 were grabbed by producer Dil Raju even before its release and is now all set to be remade in Telugu. A few week ago there were reports of Samantha Akkineni being in talks to reprise the role done by Trisha in the Tamil version, but recently she said, 96 should not be remade in Telugu. Finally Samantha Akkineni has said no for 96 remake whereas Allu Arjun is saying yes for it.
It is heard that Stylish star Allu Arjun is expressing his desire to act in the remake of hit movie 96. The source close to Sarrainodu and S/O Sathyamurthy star said that Allu Arjun has also asked to Prem Kumar to make few changes in the script of 96, according to the taste of Telugu audiences. If everything will go as per plan, Prem Kumar will helm the Telugu version of 96 in which Allu Arjun will play the lead role.
Earlier it was also heard that Dil Raju is planning to bring Harish Shankar on the board to direct the movie. Both Harish Shankar and Dil Raju had teamed up for the Allu Arjun starrer DJ aka Duvvada Jagannadham. On the otherside, Samantha Akkineni is currently busy in Naga Chaitanya starrer Majili.
