Balakrishna is keen to launch Mokshagna as hero and he has brought Puri Jagannadh on the board to helm his son’s debut. Nandamuri Family wants Mokshagna to be launched by a Filmmaker who is good at handling debutantes or young heroes. It is known news that Puri Jagannadh has directed the first movies of star kids like his son Akash Puri, Ram Charan, Puneet Rajkumar and Ishan.
Earlier the names of directors like Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and Boyapati Srinu were making round but finally Nandamuri Balakrishna has finalized the director Puri Jagannadh for his son Mokshagna. It is expected that Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and Boyapati Srinu will direct 2nd and 3rd films of Mokshagna. The sources say that Balakrishna doesn’t want powerful dialogues and heavy-duty action in the launch pad.
Balakrishna prefers a simple subject which suits the age of his Son. He does not want high voltage sequence for his son’s debut. According to the sources, Mokshagna is training hard to attain a good physique. He had also worked as an assistant director under Krish for his father’s historic movie Gauthamiputra Satakarni.
The sources close to Balayya say that the discussion between Puri Jagannadh and Balakrishna have been started and very soon the official announcement will be made regarding Mokshagna’s debut.
Earlier Balakrishna and Puri Jagannadh have worked together for the movie Paisa Vasool which was just average at the box office. His last directorial venture was Mehbooba in which his son Akash Puri played the lead role. Unfortunately the movie was bombed at the box office. Puri Jagannadh’s popular movies are Itlu Sravani Subramanyam, Badri, Appu, Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi, Sivamani, Pokiri, Desamuduru, Golimaar, Businessman, Iddarammayilatho, Heart Attack and Temper.
On the otherside, Balakrishna is currently busy in his upcoming movie NTR biopic, which is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Krish and will hit the theaters in the month of January 2019.
