Mahesh Babu is currently busy in the shoot of his ongoing project Maharshi, which is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally. Mahesh Babu is planning to wrap the entire shoot as soon as possible so they he can join the sets of his next upcoming film. If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Mahesh Babu will be seen playing guest role in his wife Namrata’s movie. It is heard that Namrata is planning to bankroll a movie under the banner of G Mahesh Babu Entertainment banner. Recently she heard a script and is very impressed. The sources say that the movie will have lots of twists and turns. And Namrata is planning to bring Mahesh Babu on the board to play extended cameo and if everything will go accordingly, he will make his screen presence for 30 minutes.
The sources close to Namrata also added that newcomers will play the lead roles. G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd is an production company established by Mahesh Babu. Earlier the production house has bankrolled Mahesh Babu starrer Srimanthudu and Brahmostavam.
The former actress and model Namrata is known for her works in Bollywood. She was awarded the Femina Miss India in 1993. She is best known for her works in films such as Kachche Dhaage, Ezhupunna Tharakan, Vaastav: The Reality, Pukar, Astitva, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, LOC Kargil. Earlier both Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar have worked together for Vamsee in 2000.
On the otherside, Mahesh Babu has now entered into Multiplex chain business collaborating with Asian Cinemas. The multiplex is named as ‘AMB Cinemas’ and it is going to be launched on 29th November. 2.0 will be the first film to be screened in this multiplex- AMB Cinemas.
After wrapping up the shoot of Maharshi, Mahesh Babu will join the sets of Sukumar’s directorial venture which will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
