Nandamuri Suhasini, the daughter of former MP and Telugu Desam Party member late Nandamuri Harikrishna, surprised everyone, as she made her entry in politics. Nandamuri Suhasini is the sister of Kalyanram and Jr NTR. She is contesting from Kukatpally Assembly constituency in Hyderabad as a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate. She has filed her nominations. We have already reported that Harikrishna died in a road accident on 29th August.
Nandamuri Suhasini, the first leader from the third generation of NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Ramo Rao)’s family to contest the elections. Nandamuri Brothers- Kalyanram and Jr NTR have come in the support of their sister. Kalyanram tweeted, “All the best Suhasini Akka for your new journey!”
Young Tiger Jr NTR wrote on Twitter, “Wishing my sister Suhasini garu all the very best, as she takes her first step into public service.”
Today, Nandamuri Suhasini along with Nandamuri Balakrishna visited NTR Ghat to pay tribute to her grandfather NTR before filing the nomination.
During the media interaction, Nandamuri Suhasini said, “I am making my entry into politics with the blessings of my grandfather, father and uncle. I seek the support of Telugu women.”
Nandamuri Balakrishna appealed to the people to support Nandamuri Suhasini. He urged his fans and party workers to come together in the support of Suhasini.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu choose Nandamuri Suhasini as the party candidate for Kukatpally constituency for the forthcoming Telangana.
Kukatpally is a suburb of Hyderabad dominated by the voters hailing from the bifurcated Andhra Pradesh. The NTR family has its roots in Krishna district of Andra Pradesh, though it had settled in Hyderabad for the 3 generations.
