Pawan Kalyan has claimed that he is losing Rs 100 Cr per year. The actor turned Politician said that he has he had given up Rs 100 Crore revenue per year in order to serve the people. According to Pawan Kalyan, he has left his filmy career as he wants to serve the people and currently he is focusing on politics. He said that he has sacrificed his filmy career for his politics.
Everybody is aware of that Pawan Kalyan has made multiple informal donations for the treatment of children, Old Age Homes etc. In 2012, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan donated Rs 500,000 to support Olympic sports shooter Rekha Chalichemala. In 2013 the actor reportedly donated Rs 2 million to Natural Calamity Management Fund for those impacted by floods at Uttarakhand. In 2014 Pawan Kalyan announced Rs. 5 million to the Chief Minister’s relief fund for taking up relief operations in the aftermath of cyclone Hudhud in Andhra Pradesh (AP). Recently Pawan Kalyan also came in the support of victims who suffered from Titli cyclone.
Pawan Kalyan also attacked TDP president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and wrote on her Facebook, “TDP Govt,help for Titli victims is peanuts,but publicity !! .. the size of a an Everest!!!This reminds me of a quote of Abraham Lincoln :” What kills a skunk is the publicity it gives itself”. Pawan Kalyan also shared articles on his Facebook and captioned it, “Titli victims real situation.“
Jana Sena President, Pawan Kalyan who had toured Telangana a few months ago, had in October announced that he would field contestants in 24 constituencies for Telangana Elections. Recently, during the media interaction in Vijayawada, when reporters asked Pawan Kalyan, whether his party would contest in the Telangana elections, Jana Sena Chief said that they would take a call on it in another 3-4 days.
