Vishal starrer Ayogya is produced by Lighthouse Movie Makers and will mark the debut of Venkat Mohan as director. Venkat Mohan is an erstwhile assistant to Sarkar and Sypder director A R Murugadoss who has nurtured many aspiring directors under him. Sam CS is rendering the tune.
Raashi Khanna will be seen playing the love interest of Vishal. Pooja Devariya is playing a key role which was played by Madhurima Banerjee in the original.
In Puri Jagannadh’s directorial venture Temper, Young Tiger Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal played the lead roles and the movie was blockbuster at the box office.
Vishal and Raashi Khanna starrer Ayogya was originally planned as a Pongal release, but due to the arrival of two other biggies in Petta and Viswasam, the makers have decided to postpone the release and now it will be released on the occasion Republic day.
Vishal has delivered back-to-back hits movies- Thupparivaalan and Irumbu Thirai this year, but his recent offering Sandakozhi 2 was an average grosser at the box office. If Ayogya turns out hit, it would be a solid return to winning ways for Vishal.
