Antariksham 9000KMPH is a science fiction space thriller film written and directed by Sankalp Reddy. The movie starring Varun Tej, Aditi Rao Hydari and Lavanya Tripathi. The first look of the film was released on 15th August 2018 on the occasion of Independence day. The teaser was released on 17th October 2018 whereas the trailer was released on 9th December 2018. Varun Tej is playing astronaut in this space thriller drama.
Many scenes of the film were shot in zero-gravity sets in Bulgaria and Hyderabad. Some crucial scenes were shot in Mahindra École Centrale, which will stand in for Indian Space Research Organisation in the film.
Varun Tej starrer Antariksham 9000KMPH will be the first ever space film in the Telugu film industry. The genre, which is so popular in India, thanks to Hollywood flicks, has not been touched upon by Indian filmmakers, particularly those in Tollywood.
