Kona Venkat took to his Twitter and wrote, “We are super excited with the look of Anushka in our film. This would be her best look till date. I like this look too.”
Anushka Shetty was last seen in Bhaagamathie, which was released in the month of January on the occasion of Republic day. Currently she is sharing the screen space with Kollywood star Madhavan in this thriller drama. Actor Madhavan was recently seen in Naga Chaitanya and Nidhhi Ageral starrer Savyasachi.
Earlier Anushka Shetty and Madhavan have worked together for a movie Rendu. Directed by Sundar C, the film, which released in 2006, received a lukewarm response from the critics and audience alike. Now, they have join hands once again for a thriller titled Silent. Director Hemant Madhukar, who had helmed Vastadu Naa Raju in Telugu, is wielding the megaphone. Hemant previously helmed Hindi movie Flat, starring Sanjay Suri and Jimmy Sheirgill. Hemant’s idea has been developed into a story by Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan. Kona Venkat has already revealed they worked on the script for almost two years.
Bankrolled by People Media Factory, Silent has the story written by popular writer-producer Kona Venkat.
Kona Venkat has also doubled up as co-producer for Silent. Anushka Shetty starrer is being made on the budget of Rs 40 Cr, and the major part of the film is being shoot in US.
