The sources close to Jawaan actor revealed that recently both the actor and director- Sai Dharam Tej and G Ashok met and discussed about the possibility of the project. The actor who is very happy with the narration has given nod but did not sign the project yet. The film is said to be laced with some fantasy elements like Ashok’s previous offering Bhaagaamathie starring Anushka Shetty.
G Ashok made his debut as a director with Aakasa Ramanna. In 2011, he directed Pilla Zamindar with natural Star Nani and Haripriya. In 2013, he directed Sukumarudu with Aadi and Nisha Agarwal. He is best known for his work on Bhaagamathie with Anushka Shetty which was released this year in the month of January which was turned out hit at the box office. The content and the performance of Anushka was one of the major highlight if the film. After Bhaagamathie, G Ashok did not start any project and now he is going to team up with Mega hero.
This year Sai Dharam Tej has delivered two movies – Inttelligent and Tej I Love You. Inttelligent was directed by VV Vinayak, in which Lavanya Tripathi played the female lead. The movie was bombed at the box office. Later Sai Dharam Tej came up with A. Karunakaran’s directorial venture Tej I Love You in which Anupama Parameswaran played the female lead role. Unfortunately this movie was also turned out commercially flop. This time he is taking special care regarding his upcoming projects.
On the work side, Sai Dharam Tej has wrapped up the shoot of his next upcoming film Chitralahari under the direction of Kishore Tirumala, in which Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nivetha Thomas are playing the female leads.
