
It is known news that Vijay Deverakonda starrer NOTA was turned out commercially flop at the box office. This was the first time when the actor essayed the role of Chief Minister. Though his performance received lot of applause but the movie was rejected by the audiences, especially the Telugu audiences But actor has promised that very soon he will make his comeback in Tamil film Industry with a hit movie.
The sources close to Vijay Deverakonda said that though the actor was in talks for the project, but he has declined it.
Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam fame actor is currently busy shooting for the Telugu campus drama ‘Dear Comrade’. It is also heard that Vijay Deverakonda is also in talks with Mani Ratnam for a film. He was even approached for Simbu’s role in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, however, the actor couldn’t take up the offer as he was occupied with other commitments.
In Dear Comrade, Vijay Deverakonda will be seen romancing with Rashmika Mandanna, which is being directed by Bharat Kamma. The actor will be seen as a student leader and he follows the philosophies of communism in his actions. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the role of a cricketer. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in supernatural thriller drama Taxiwaala, which is running successfully at the box office.
