Hello Girl romance with Gemini Ganesan

Kalyani Priyadarshan, who played the female lead in Akhil Akkineni starrer romantic and action entertainer Hello, in the direction of Vikram Kumar, has been roped in an upcoming Tamil movie Vaan, in which Dulquer Salmaan is playing the lead role. It is known news that Dulquer Salmaan has played the  role of Gemini Ganesan is Nag Ashwin’s directorial venture Mahanati- based on the south Indian Legendary actress Savitri. Now finally Hello girl Kalyani Priyadarshan is on the board to romance with Dulquer Salman.

Apart from Kalyani Priyadarshan, another actress Kriti Kharbanda is also playing the female lead. The actress who made her Tamil debut with GV Prakash’s Bruce Lee, returns with the film Vaan, where she will share the screen space with Dulquer Salmaan. Earlier it was heard that Nivetha Pethuraj will be seen alongside Duquer but finally the makers have roped Kalyani Priyadarshan and Kriti Kharbanda. The hunt for third actress is currently on.

Directed by R. Karthik, Vaan is a travelogue in which Dilquer Salmaan has a multidimensional role. Hence there are two more heroines and R. Karthik says he has roped in Kalyani Priyadarshan while the third heroine is yet to be finalized.

Recently during the media interaction, when R. Karthik was asked about the presence of Nivetha Pethuraj, he said, “No. Nivetha is not part of the film. Vaan means Vaanam (sky) and it even denotes rain, and the other things. There are different segments in this movie, which are nature related.”

According to the latest update, Dulquer Salmaan will be seen playing multiple characters sporting different looks and the film is shot in places like north Sikkim, Kolkata Gangtok and in Coimbatore and Chennai too.

 Vaan is being produced by Selva Kumar J under the banner of Kenanya Films. Debutant Dheena Dayalan is on the board to render the tune.
