During his visit to the Tirumala hill shrine, Lagadapati Rajagopal told media persons that a good number of independents (rebels) will snatch victory from main parties in present polls. He also revealed that BLF candidate K Shiva Kumar Reddy from Narayanapet constituency in Mahbubnagar district, a Congress rebel candidate, and Anil Jadhav who is contesting as an independent candidate in Boath in Adilabad district, will be the winner. A section of respondents, particularly those from Adilabad, dismissed Lagadapati Rajagopal’s forecast that the Independent candidate would win from Boath constituency.
KCR said the people not to believe in such baseless surveys. It is known news that whenever Lagadapati Rajagopal releases election surveys, they become controversial and hot topic of discussion in political circles.
On the otherside, the Prajakutami alliance, comprising Congress, TDP, TJS and CPI has not reacted on Lagadapati Rajagopal’s statements, but the TRS President KCR has launched an attack. Without taking the name of Lagadapati Rajagopal, recently at Praja Ashirwada Sabha, KCR said those who cursed Telangana during the movement are coming up with fake surveys and asked people to not believe in such surveys.
