Madhuri Dixit to Contest from Pune In 2019 on BJP ticket

Madhuri Dixit Nene might get a BJP ticket for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. According to the latest buzz, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is considering fielding Bollywood beauty Madhuri Dixit Nene from the Pune Lok Sabha constituency in the 2019 general elections. Recently the party has done an internal survey related to candidates for various seat. In the survey, the name of Madhuri Dixit Nene has received the highest response in the Pune Lok Sabha constituency, which is entirely urban seat. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)  has decided to bring in celebrities to ensure its victory.

In June this year, Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah had met Madhuri Dixit Nene at her residence in Mumbai during his party’s Sampark for Samarthan programme and convinced her to make entry in politics. Amit Shah briefed her on the achievements of Narendra Modi government.

Madhuri Dixit Nene is popular in Maharashtra and a source of Marathi pride. Her name was included as a possible BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) candidate for the Pune seat. The sources said that Madhuri Dixit Nene has received a tremendous response from women of all age groups as well as the young voters.

A senior BJP leader said that  that Madhuri Dixit Nene‘s name has been shortlisted for the Pune Lok Sabha seat. He added that we think  that the Pune Lok Sabha constituency will be better for  the actress.
