Official: NTR Mahanayakudu Release Date

NTR biopic is being made in two parts- NTR Kathanayakudu, and  NTR Mahanayakudu. It is known news that  NTR Kathanayakudu will be released on 9th January 2019 release during Sankranthi and now the makers have officially confirmed the news by releasing a new poster that NTR  Mahanayakudu will be released on 7th February 2019.

NTR biopic is a biographical drama film based on the real life of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, directed by National award winning director Krish and produced by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati Ranganatha, Vishnu Induri under NBK Films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, and Vibri Media banners. It is the first movie in the two part biographical movie series based on the life of former legendary actor and politician NTR. Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the role o his father in NTR biopic.

 Vidya Balan will be seen as Basavatarakam, N. T. Rama Rao’s first wife, this film marking her debut in Telugu. Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rama Daggubati is playing current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and music is composed by M. M. Keeravani The film has a sequel, NTR Mahanayakudu that will showcase the political journey of N.T. Rama Rao.

Sumanth is essaying ANR, Kalyanram is portraying the role of his father Harikrishna, Rakul Preet Singh is playing late actress Sridevi, Hansika Motwani is essaying Jayprada whereas Nithya Menen will be seen playing the role of South Indian legendary actress Savitri in NTR Kathanayakudu. NTR biopic audio and trailer will be launched on 21st December .

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao founded the Telugu Desam Party (TRS) in 1982 and served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for 7 Years. NTR had been the part of more than 250 films and he had won 3  National Awards as an actor as well as a producer for Seetharama Kalyanam, Thodu Dongalu,  and Varakatnam.
