Prabhas to stay temporarily

Prabhas to stay temporarilyAfter the Telangana Government seized the guesthouse of Young Rebel star Prabhas, the actor filed a petition and  challenged their decision in the High Court.  According to the  latest update, Hyderabad High Court granted temporary relief for Prabhas in the land case stating that he can continue to live in the guest house until a conclusion in the case is reached.

Recently Baahubali Prabhas challenged the action of the Ranga Reddy district Collector and officials in interfering with his land in Serilingampally mandal without prior notice. His land measuring 2,083 square yards in plot numbers 221, 222 and 223 at Raidurgam was taken in possession of the state authorities after the Telangana government won the case in Supreme Court.

In his petition, Prabhas said that he had purchased the land in 2005 and 2006 and paid more than Rs 1 Cr for its regularization.

The Hyderabad High Court, which heard the petition on Friday, ordered that the status quo be maintained at the site till further orders.  The Bench asked the state government to file a counter petition in the case before 24th December  and postponed the next hearing to 31st December 2018.

On the work side, Prabhas is currently busy in his next upcoming movie Saaho which is being directed by Sujeeth Reddy and is bankrolled by UV Creations. Shraddha Kapoor is playing the female lead and the movie marks her Telugu debut, which will hit the theaters on 15th August 2019, on the occasion of Independence day.
