Priyanka Jawalkar to romance Bellamkonda GaneshPriyanka Jawalkar made her Telugu debut with supernatural thriller drama Taxiwaala where she played the female lead and shared the screen space with young and talented actor Vijay Deverakonda. Now the actress has signed another upcoming movie. According to the latest update, Priyanka Jawalkar has been approached to play the female lead in an upcoming Telugu movie in which Bellamkonda Ganesh, the younger son of producer Bellamkonda Suresh will play the lead role.

Though Bellamkonda Ganesh wants to become the producer but finally he is going to become an actor. The upcoming film will mark his debut in Tollywood, which will be helmed by new director Phani Krishna, who worked as an associate for director VV Vinayak.

Priyanka Jawalkar, a Marathi girl born and brought up in Anantapur, will be seen romancing with Bellamkonda Ganesh, the brother of Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas.

Along with her computer science degree, Priyanka Jawalkar also holds a diploma in Fashion Clothing Technology from NIFT, Hyderabad. Few months ago, during the media interaction, the actress has said “I wanted to be an actor since I was a child. But you know how parents are? They pushed me towards academics. When I was in my engineering final year, I was offered a short film. I was impressed with the previous work of that filmmaker. So I agreed to do that.” Priyanka Jawalkar further said, “In 2016, I joined the acting classes conducted by Bhikshu and Aruna Bhikshu.”

Priyanka Jawalkar’s fluency in speaking the language and her identity as ‘Anantapur pilla’ has already set her apart from other actresses from non-Telugu states. The ‘Telugu girl’ identity is likely to work in her advantage as there is a growing clamor against native talents losing the lead roles to female actors from north India in the Telugu film industry.

On the other-side, Priyanka Jawalkar will also be seen in Ravi Teja starrer upcoming film, which is being directed by VI Anand.
