RGV Lakshmi’s NTR Vennupotu Song stirs up controversy

Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV is currently busy in upcoming directorial venture Lakshmi’s NTR. He is claiming that he is going to throw light on the hidden truths of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s life. Recently the director released the first single ‘Vennupotu’ from Lakshmi’s NTR and this song is based on famous backstabbing to NTR. RGV captioned it, “Here is #LakshmisNTR #వెన్నుపోటుపాట..I thank the Music director and Singer @kalyanimalik31 and lyricist @Sirasri for bringing to life the dead truths of backstabbing NTR.”

 Kalyani Mallik has composed the music for this film which is based on the life of NTR post his wedding with Lakhsmi Parvathi. Vennupotu song has powerful lyrics about the sad incidents that happened in Sr NTR life.

Vennupotu Song has offended many supporters of Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The song is a direct dig at AP CM Naidu and other politicians, who allegedly sidelined NTR in his own party.

An MLA SV Mohan Reddy has filed a complaint against Ram Gopal Varma in Kurnool police station. The MLA said that Lakshmi’s NTR song Vennupotu is defaming Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Ram Gopal Varma responded on the complaint and wrote, “I am also going there to complain against the complaint (sic).”

 Ram Gopal Varma also thanked to the protesters and tweeted, “I thank all the protestors of #LakshmisNTR VennuPotu song who are lodging police complaints and burning my effigies, because they are all increasing the song views.” He further wrote, “People who are not thinking that #LakshmisNTR is not about @ncbn should not think that it’s also not about NTR.”

The biopic  (Lakshmi’s NTR) will start with the entry of Lakshmi Parvathi’s entry into NTR’s life, which is the most controversial episode of the entire life of NTR.
