RRR: Rajamouli in Deep Mess?

RRR: Rajamouli in Deep MessAfter delivering Baahubali 2: The Concussion, SS Rajamouli announced his next project RRR and the regular shoot of the film has been already started. It is known news that National award-winning visual effects supervisor Srinivas Mohan’s association with Rajamouli resulted in Baahubali. After missing out on Baahubali 2 :The Conclusion due to a prior commitment for Shankar’s 2.0, Srinivas Mohan has joined hands with Rajamouli once again for RRR. Recently during the media interaction, he opened up about RRR and revealed that although RRR will feature VFX, but the film is not VFX-driven like Baahubali.

Rajamouli had devoted about five years for Baahubali: The Beginning and  Baahubali: The Conclusion and interestingly both the movies were high on VFX. In fact, a large portion of the budget was spent on the graphics alone. As Young Tiger Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer  RRR is also being made on the lavish budget of Rs 300 Cr everyone expected that huge amount of money  will be utilized for VFX. But looks like Rajamouli is in a deep mess now and is not able to decide about it’s VFX work.

Though Srinivas Mohan opened up about VFX work of Rajamouli’s RRR but he remained tight-lipped about more details about the film.

While there are a lot of speculations about the female leads to be roped in for the project, ranging from Rashmika Mandanna to Rakul Preet Singh to Keerthy Suresh, there is still no official announcement on this yet.

We have already reported that Rajamouli has wrapped up the first schedule of RRR and he has taken a short break and is busy in the preparation work of his son Karthikeya’s wedding.

The sources say  that RRR is a period film set in the pre-Independence era. It is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainments.
