Savitri romance with Naga Chaitanya?

Nithya Menen, who is playing the role of Savitri Mahanati in NTR biopic,  has been approached to play the female lead in an upcoming movie in which Akkineni Naga Chaitanya will play the lead role.  The film will be helmed by Merlapaka Gandhi of  Express Raja and Krishnarjuna Yuddham fame, and produced by UV Creations. The sources say that upcoming untitled film will be full length comedy entertainer.

This year, Nithya Menen was seen in Natural Star Nani’s production venture Awe and  Vijay Deverakonda starrer Geetha Govindam, which were hit at the box office and if everything will go accordingly, the actress will be seen sharing the screen space with Naga Chaitanya.  The talk has been initiated but nothing is yet finalized.  If Nithya Menen given her nod, this upcoming film will mark her big comeback to Telugu Film Industry.

Nithya Menen has acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films.  She made her Telugu debut with Ala Modalaindi in  2011. She is recipient of three Filmfare Awards for the Telugu films Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju and Mersal and OK Kanmani in Tamil.

 Currently Nithya Menen is waiting for the release of her upcoming movie NTR biopic, which is being made in two parts. Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the role of his father and it is being helmed by Krish.

 On the otherside, Naga Chaitanya who was last seen in Savyasachi, is currently sharing the screen space with his wife Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in upcoming romantic and family entertainer Majili. It is being directed by Shiva Nirvana, who made his directorial debut with Nani starrer Ninnu Kori and bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner of Shine Screens. After Ye Maaya Chesave, Manam and Autonagar Surya, this is the fourth time, both Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni are working together.
